Kill Blue stars Juzo Ogami. The story begins with him as an adult and assassin. However, after being stung by a strange wasp after a case involving a genetic manipulation group, he finds himself as a middle schooler and on an entirely new mission for his boss. His goal is to inspect it and see if it is safe and reputable enough for his boss’ daughter to attend. However, given he never had a normal childhood due to being trained as a hitman since he was a child and never even finished elementary school, he’ll have a number of challenges ahead of him.

This is the second new manga to debut in Shonen Jump in April 2023. Earlier in the month, Tenmaku Cinema started its run. It’s from Yuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki, who created Food Wars.

The next chapter of the Kill Blue manga will appear in Shonen Jump next week and online on Manga Plus and Viz on April 23, 2023.
