King of Fighters ’98: Ultimate Match coming to North America

kofum.jpgThe headline really says it all. We will see it sometime in Q4 2008 and unlike the recent multiplatform releases King of Fighters ’98: Ultimate Match will only be for the PlayStation 2. What makes this the “ultimate” version of King of Fighters ’98? Ten characters are added to the roster for a total of 64 and players have options to customize their fighting style.

If you can’t wait until later this year, SNK is releasing this in Japan in March. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to the US version come out at a more wallet friendly price point. Patience pays.
