When Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix was released for the PlayStation 4, there were a number of technical issues with the game. Square Enix has been gradually righting wrongs with patches since its release, and its latest update is no exception. Except this time, in addition to bug fixes, two new features are being added to games and segments in the collection.
First, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is receiving an update. A Theatre Mode will now be available. When people choose this option, they will be able to watch cutscenes taken from the game. Think of it as a refresher for those who do not want to replay the whole game again.
The second addition has to do with the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days HD remastered cinematics appearing in the collection. A new cutscene set during Roxas’ time with Organization XIII will be available to view after the patch. Square Enix doesn’t mention which specific scene it is, however.
