An announcement from Square-Enix on Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix revealed that the remixed PS2 game will come with a remade version of the Game Boy Advance title Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. The GBA remake includes 3D graphics, but sticks to the love it or hate it card battling system. On top of new graphics the remake will add in voice acting for some event scenes. Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix comes out in spring 2007 for Japan with the English version of Utada Hikaru’s Kingdom Hearts II theme, “Sanctuary”.
