Nintendo announced that Europe is getting a Kirby Battle Royale demo for 3DS later today, and it’ll let you carry over save data to the full release version of the game to get playable Meta Knight from the start.
As for the demo, it’ll have three battle modes out of the game’s 10 that you’ll get to try out. Again, you won’t need to get the demo in order to unlock Meta Knight, as he’s also available to unlock by clearing the story.
Kirby Battle Royale releases in Europe on November 3 and Japan on November 30, 2017. North America will get it later on January 19, 2018.
