Nintendo will be bringing Kirby to Miitomo for a Miitomo x Kirby Deluxe Collaboration. Between September 15 and October 13, 2016, people will be able to get Kirby clothing and accessories for their Miis to wear in the app, thanks to new items available via the in-app store, Miitomo Drop stages, and My Nintendo.

The collaboration is kicking off with a Miitomo retweet event. If particular tweets made by Nintendo of America, Nintendo of Europe, and Nintendo of Japan reach over 20,000 retweets total by September 12, 2016, every Miitomo user will receive a Kirby Cafe shirt for their avatars. Should the goal be reached, the shirts will be given out during the Miitomo x Kirby Deluxe Collaboration period. Regardless of retweet counts, every user will receive  Kirby hood in their gift box the day the collab begins.

banner_part3Kirby items will come to the Miitomo shop and droppers section too. A Kirby and Waddle Dee Miitomo Drop stage will have an 8-bit Kirby tee, Pocket Kirby sweatshirt, Maxim Tomato sneakers, and a Little Waddle Dee in it. The Kirby Cafe Miitomo Drop stage will have the Kirby Cafe shirt, Kirby Cafe collared shirt, Kirby Cafe monogram hat, and Kirby Cafe overalls in it. People who visit the in-app store will be able to buy a Little Kirby that can sit on your Mii’s shoulder.

Finally, My Nintendo will offer two Miitomo shirts you’ll be able to buy with Platinum Points. One features Kirby in his Kirby: Planet Robobot armor, while the other has Kirby hanging out with Box Boy’s Qbby.

Miitomo is available for Apple iOS and Android devices.
