Back on February 24, 2018, a Google ad suggested a Kirby: Star Allies demo was on the way. Now, it has been confirmed by Nintendo via Twitter that a trial version will appear. In fact, it is already available on the European eShop. Release dates for the Japanese and North American versions have not yet been announced.
The Kirby: Star Allies demo allows people to try two stages. The first is the Grasslands Stage, which is described as being “easy.” The second is the Cave & Castle Stage, which is labeled as “hard.”
Up to four players can journey through Dream Land together anytime, anywhere in #KirbyStarAllies! A free demo is now available from #NintendoSwitch #eShop.
