Paradox has published KYY Games’s tongue-in-cheek RPG sequel Knights of Pen & Paper 2 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can purchase it for $9.99. The game came out for iOS and Android earlier this year.
This PC version of Knights of Pen & Paper 2 comes with support for gamepads, keyboards, and mice. It also runs at 1080p and 60fps. Plus, it includes the story expansion “Fist of +1 Fury,” which brings in new monsters and challenges from the Far East of Paperos.
Not to mention that this sequel adds new in-game races, randomly generated dungeons, 16-bit graphics instead of 8-bit, and revamped music.
If you’re completely unfamiliar with the games, all you need to know is that it has you guiding a group of teenagers as they play a classic pen and paper RPG. They bring it to life with their imaginations so you’re always conscious of the meta narrative here, which also lends itself to plenty of reflexive jokes about the tropes of the genre.
