Kobayashi ga Kawai Sugite Tsurai!! has been going on as a manga since 2012, and has had some OVAs for the series, too. Next on the list is a new game for the Nintendo 3DS by Happinet Games. The official website shares a first look.
Kobayashi ga Kawai Sugite Tsurai!! will feature a completely original story for the Nintendo 3DS, where handsome guys like one with an eye-patch, a blonde boy, and an Italian transfer to the school, and all fall in love with Megumu.
The story will be told in manga-like fashion, with animations that show mouths moving along the text, effects like sweat, angry veins, hearts throbbing, and more to fit the feel and look of the manga. Additionally, the game will be fully-voiced.
To give you an idea on what the story is like, Megumu and Mitsuru Kobayashi are twin brother and sisters. The premise revolves around how the twins attend separate single-sex high schools. They decide to exchange places by cross-dressing, only to find that things were a little unexpected.
To summarize the characters and their relationship, Megumu is currently dating Aoi Sanada, the guy with the eye-patch. He seems to have some sort of past relationship with the redhead on the bottom-left named Chiharu Uezuki. The mysterious Italian named Elio Falcone will cause some problems beween Megumu and Aoi.
As for Mitsuru’s side, he’s interested in the girl on the bottom-right named Azusa Tokugawa, and it appears that she might also like him; however, things might get a little tricky with him dressing up with his sister, and all.
Kobayashi ga Kawai Sugite Tsurai!! will release in Japan on August 27, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
