KOF 2002 UM tracks added to King of Fighters XV DJ Station

KOF XV Update Added 29 Songs From KOF 2002 Unlimited Match

SNK officially released the Team Garou DLC for The King of Fighters XV. The company also released a free content update that applies to all players, regardless of whether they purchased the character DLC. This update added 29 songs from The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match into the DJ Station lineup in KOF XV. It allows players to change the music in in-game matches to BGMs from the older title. SNK will add more tracks into the collection in the near future.

The company also released a patch that raises the game’s version to 1.11. It mostly resolved issues and bugs found in the previous build. The patch also adjusted the strength of some characters. For example, it increased the damage values for some of Whip’s attacks.

SNK plans to release another patch that will bring adjustments to some characters around the time it releases the Team South Town DLC in May 2022. The company will release two more additional teams in Summer and Autumn 2022. By the end of 2022, KOF XV will have a total of 51 playable characters, including the DLC additions. SNK has yet to announce concrete plans to update the game further in 2023 and beyond.

The King of Fighters XV is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC.
