The Danganronpa and Lawson collaboration will start in earnest from December 16, 2025. Aside from merchandise of the characters dressed up as Karaage-kun, you’ll also be able to hear Nagito Komaeda (voiced by Megumi Ogata) speaking in the in-store announcements. [Thanks, Denfaminico!]
While the collaboration goods will be available in store, you’ll also be able to order them via @Loppi or HMV & Books Onlines. There will be eleven variations of the Lawson Karaage-kun and Danganronpa dolls, and each will cost 3850 JPY ($24.55). You’ll be able to get:
- Chiaki Nanami
- Hajime Hinata
- Junko Enoshima
- Kaede Akamatsu
- Kokichi Ouma
- Kyoko Kirigiri
- Makoto Naegi
- Monokuma
- Monomi
- Nagito Komaeda
- Shuichi Saihara
Each doll will have the character’s face poking out from a hood that resembles Karaage-kun, and they’re in a box that looks like the one you get when ordering fried chicken. The Karaage-kun part differs depending on the character. For example, Kyoko has a cup of instant ramen on her, referencing a sprite that shows up late in the first game. The others have their school emblems.

Other goods include T-shirts, acrylic stands, and glitter pins. You’ll also be able to buy Danganronpa bromides and stickers from the multi-purpose copy machines inside the Lawson stores.
The Lawson and Danganronpa collaboration will start in Japan from December 16, 2025. Danganronpa 2×2, a remake of the second game with a new scenario and new cases, will come out on the Switch and Switch 2 in 2026.
