One million players signed up for Metal Gear Online and Konami is celebrating by loosely handing out reward points. If you log on between November 25 to December 9 you’ll get 10,000 Reward Points good for avatar customization. Usually, you get 10 reward points each day you log in so this bonus is equivalent to logging in everyday for over two and a half years. Additionally, thirty lucky winners – ten from each region (North America, Europe, and Japan) will get an extra 100,000 Reward Points from a random drawing on December 16.
The second Metal Gear Online expansion pack is scheduled to come out this month for an unannounced price. However, if you don’t have the Gene expansion pack you may want to wait for Konami’s MGO expansion pack bundle. You will be able to get the Gene and Meme expansion pack together for $14.99 this holiday season.
