South Korea is no stranger to mammoth special edition bundles. Local studios like T3 Entertainment and Pentavision do this kind of thing all the time. So, I’m not really surprised to see Microsoft pull something like this off for Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom. Play-Asia divulged the details of what is in the limited edition set: the game, an illustration book, postcards and a t-shirt which is being sold for nearly double the price of the game stand alone game.
While Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom may not be a cornerstone property for North America or Japan, it’s critical for Korea. Blueside developed Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom as the region’s first major local release and Microsoft is banking counting on it to boost sales of the Xbox 360 in the region.
