The Nintendo Switch is getting a KORG application for creating music, and new information has been released on the official website going over what people can expect from KORG Gadget. The creation tool will let people go through Sound, Phrase, Sequence and Mix segments to use the synthesization tools to create a song either alone or with friends.

KORG Gadget has a multiplayer mode. Up to four people, each using their own Joy-Con, can work together on a single song or create their own part locally. One of the initial screenshots shows how split-screen multiplayer will allow each person to focus on their own portion of the song with the 16 synthesizers and drum machine gadgets available.

The Joy-Cons are necessary due to the way KORG Gadget uses its sensors. In addition to standard controls, people can use motion controls to turn knobs or play notes. The HD Rumble feature provides sensory feedback.

KORG Gadget will come to the Nintendo Switch in Spring 2018.
