The Langrisser Mobile game is going to make its debut on a new platform. It will show up on PCs on August 27, 2019. The Steam listing drops the “mobile” from its title, but seems to otherwise keep everything else from this spin-off intact.
Langrisser Mobile features an original story about a young man chosen to take up Langrisser and fight evil. The twist is, Matthew and his friends end up being able to summon past heroes to help boost their army’s roster. You also eventually gain access to Time Rifts, which let you go through battles inspired by fights in past Langrisser games. The idea is to be able to experience bits of the old storyline, while bringing it into a turn-based, strategic RPG.
There aren’t too many details going over how the PC version will compare to the mobile one. However, we do know it will have in-app purchases and have English, French, German, Russian, and Turkish language options. It also apparently won’t have Japanese voice acting, as the PC version only notes full audio in English.
Langrisser Mobile is immediately available on Android and Apple iOS devices.
