Sony has announced the six PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection titles for August. Lara Croft and Kratos are leading the pack this update, as Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, God of War: Ascension, Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones, Sound Shapes, Limbo, and CastleStorm will all be free for one month starting August 4.
Like July, the majority of August PlayStation Plus update titles are compatible with the PS4. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Limbo, Sound Shapes, and Stealth 2 are all playable on the console. The PS3 gets an equal amount of attention, however, since CastleStorm, God of War: Ascension, Sound Shapes, and Stealth 2 can be downloaded for the system. Vita owners can access CastleStorm and Sound Shapes.
A key element of Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is playing with friends competitively and cooperatively. With all PlayStation Plus members getting it next week, expect a larger pool of people to play with.
