As part of The Game Awards 2025, Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian Studios revealed that they are working on a new Divinity game. The developers have confirmed that the game will be a new standalone entry in the series. The team also said that it will be even bigger than Baldur’s Gate 3.

The announcement appeared with a cinematic trailer for the new Divinity game, which is still unnamed. Additionally, the trailer confirmed that the mysterious Mojave statue that Geoff Keighley was teasing a few weeks back was a teaser for the new Divinity announcement. Larian Studios also confirmed that players that have no previous experience with Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin 2 will still be able to experience the new game.

Furthermore, while Larian Studios’ Publishing Director Michael Douse recently shared on social media that they were not working on a new Divinity: Original Sin 3, this statement is not entirely untrue, as the full title of the newly announced Divinity hasn’t been revealed yet.

A new Divinity game is currently under development by Larian Studios. No information on the target platforms and release date has been given yet.
