Latest Breath of the Wild Screenshot May Show The Merchant Beedle In The Game

Recommended Videos

The latest screenshot for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been unveiled over on Facebook, and a number of people have noticed something interesting about one of the figures featured in the image.

GameXplain has noted that the figure near the bottom left of the screenshot seems to have quite a lot of similarities to the traveling merchant Beedle who has appeared in past Zelda titles such as Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. The figure appears to share Beedle’s design, down to the color of his hair and what seems to be a similar pattern on his clothes. The large bag they are carrying also bears a strong resemblance to an actual beetle.

You can check out the video below to hear all of GameXplain’s thoughts on the screenshot.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release sometime in 2017 for the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch.
