Taito announced two types of The Legend of Zelda keychains based on the Master Sword and heart container life indicators. There’s no exact release date beyond “early November 2026” yet. However, it confirmed both on the official Taito Prize site and on social media that these will only appear at Lawson. There’s no US site selling them yet, but sometimes Aitai Kuji sells Taito prizes after their Japanese launch.
Each of these types of The Legend of Zelda keychains features a unique action associated with it. The heart container keychain one features three hearts on it. If you “take damage” by hitting it, the number of filled hearts will go down. It is about three inches long (8cm).
The Master Sword keychain gives a person the ability to pull the sword from its stone. There are three different color options. In each case, you can pull the weapon out of the fabric base to draw it. It is attached to the base via a string, so you won’t lose either part. That is about five inches tall (13cm).
Here’s how both of those will look:
The Legend of Zelda Master Sword and heart container keychains will show up at Lawson convenience stores in Japan in early November 2026. The remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time debuts on the Switch 2 on November 5, 2026.
