Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy featuring Katrielle, the daughter of Hershel Layton, first released on 3DS and smartphones is now headed to Switch this August in Japan, Level-5 announced in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

The original game released in Japan in July 2017 for 3DS and smartphones, and it is headed to Nintendo Switch as Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy DX.

There are plans for some sort of NFC compatibility with Takara Tomy’s upcoming “Nazotoki Charm” toy that is in the works. There has been some changes, however, as the controls that required touch pen in the original version have been changed to controller controls instead.

Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy DX releases in Japan on August 9, 2018 for Nintendo Switch. The original game is available on 3DS, iOS, and Android.
