Devolver Digital and Kitty Lambda Games have announced Paradise Never for Windows, Mac, and Linux this summer.   It’s an action-RPG set on a French island colony in 2027 where revolution is ringing out. Your task is to free your fellow islanders from your imperial French overlords as a group of friends turned rebels.   However, you only have three days in which to meet this goal. Should you fail, a goddess will give you the chance to relive those three days and right your wrongs. Each time you restart the island is generated differently to keep things fresh.   cucb Talking to NPCs at different times can lead to new circumstances as you give them new motivations or find out something you didn’t before that’ll contribute to your goal. You can also attach cannons to your boat to do physical damage or use a “battle-ready electric guitar” on land to the same purpose. But, if you cause too many casualties, the goddess will force you to restart once again.   More information about Paradise Never will turn up on its website as its release nears.
