The first trailer for The Legend of Bum-bo, a sort-of-prequel to The Binding of Isaac, was released yesterday on Youtube. The trailer provides a look at what the gameplay and story have to offer.
The Legend of Bum-bo features puzzle RPG gameplay, where connecting a match-4 puzzle will create mana for Bum-bo to cast spells with. These spells range from summoning a fish hook to attack enemies, or mom’s leg to crush foes.
The game will be released sometime in 2018 on Steam, iOS, and a Nintendo Switch version sometime next year.

The Legend of Bum-bo will be available for iOS and PC in 2018, and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
