A handful of new Legend of Zelda amiibos released recently in celebration of the series’ 30th anniversary. These amiibos included an 8-bit Link figure, an Ocarina of Time Link figure, a Toon Link figure, and a Wind Waker Zelda figure.
Nintendo has now shared a look at how each of these amiibo function when used in conjunction with the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Each amiibo will provide you with a handful of items, depending on which figure you use. For example, using the 8-bit Link amiibo will reward you with a random number of barrels which may contain rupees, while the Ocarina of Time Link will give you a random quantity of meat. Toon Link will give players a random amount of fish while, finally, Wind Waker Zelda will reward you with a random collection of plants.
In addition to the items, Nintendo also mentioned that, when using the amiibo, there is a chance players may receive a treasure chest as well.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is slated to release sometime in 2017 for the Wii U and upcoming Nintendo Switch.
