In Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, Kang the Conqueror has stolen a number of realms and brought them to Chronopolis. This provides a rather convenient excuse for so many heroes and villains being in one place. While the May 2017 trailer was about introducing the game and quite a few of the characters who will be making appearances, the Gamescom 2017 trailer offers snapshots of many locations, giving people a look at levels they will be exploring. It also notes that pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition, which gives the main game and season pass, also gives people the Classic Guardians of the Galaxy Character Pack.
The Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 trailer sets these areas up with postcard preview images before showing a key character fighting there. It begins with Spider-Man 2099’s Nueva York and Miguel O’Hara as Spider-Man. Then, we see Black Panther in Wakanda. After that is The Old West, which seems like a reference to the Secret Wars 1872 series, since Captain America is there. The next stop is Asgard, with Rocket Raccoon and Ms. Marvel. We also see The Swamp, Knowhere, The Coliseum, Manhattan, Egypt, K’un-Lun, Lemuria, Hydra, Medieval England, Hala, and Noir New York.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 14, 2017.
