Netflix announced Lego One Piece, a two-part special show, and shared a first trailer ahead of its September 29, 2026 debut. It will feature an original story. Also, as expected from the name, it will feature the same aesthetic as the Lego sets based on the live-action show that started appearing in 2025.
The initial teaser for this special shows that this will essentially be an OVA and omake story starring Usopp. In the early snippet and official description, he describes himself as Captain Usopp the Brave. Accompanied by the Straw Hats, he promises to cover his great deeds. The initial announcement also mentioned Syrup Village, perhaps hinting at it being a setting. We also hear Jacob Romero, who plays the character in the live-action adaptation, reprising his role for this side-story. The listing on Netflix shows the minifig of him alongside the one for Chopper, confirming both will play a part in this adaptation.
Here’s the official Lego One Piece announcement trailer for the upcoming two-part special.
As far as actual Lego sets based on the series go, there are quite a few. Five of them are based on events and locations we saw in the first season of the live-action adaptation. Only one BrickHeadz one is a part of the line, and that’s of Buggy the Clown. The next set will be the Gum-Gum Fruit replica, which costs $69.99. That will arrive on August 1, 2026. It includes minifigs of Luffy as an adult and child, and you can remove the top to see a scene of Luffy finding the Devil Fruit inside.
The Lego One Piece two-part special will air on September 29, 2026, and a number of sets in that style are already available to buy worldwide. The manga is handled by Viz Media outside Japan, the anime is streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and the first two seasons of the live-action adaptation are on Netflix now. Season 3 of the live-action show is also in the works.
