At The Game Awards 2025, Capcom confirmed that Leon S Kennedy will also be playable in Resident Evil Requiem. Parts of the new game with newcomer Grace Ashcroft will be a more traditional Resident Evil survival horror experience. Ones with Leon will be an action-based horror experience. There’s also a new trailer highlighting story segments with both of them.
The TGA 2025 Resident Evil Requiem trailer looks at Grace before going over Leon segments. We see her confronted by a doctor individual who has been searching for her for a while. He claims she is “special” and he wants to use her to set “set Elpis free.” Then, we see Leon in more active situations and hearing about a Victor Gideon, who is the individual going after Grace and has ties to Umbrella.

Resident Evil Requiem will come to the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Game Store on February 27, 2026. Resident Evil Generation Pack, with the seventh, eighth, and ninth games, will be available for the Switch 2 from February 27, 2026 to March 31, 2026.
