Let’s Visit Square Enix’s Tokyo Store And See Sephiroth

Square Enix has a shop in Tokyo where you can buy all kinds of Square Enix stuff and see Sephiroth sleeping in the floor. For those of you planning on visiting Japan, the address is 4-31-8 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku. Oh, and you actually want to take a train to Shinjuku, not Shibuya, to get there.

Directions!

Assuming you’re taking the Yamanote line or another JR train, leave Shinjuku station from the South entrance. Turn right and start walking on Koshu Kaido. If you pass the Odakyu railway you’re going in the correct direction.

A better landmark is the giant First Kitchen clock. You’ll pass this after walking for three minutes, if you’re going in the fight direction. Keep walking straight, it takes about 15 minutes to get there. When you see a glass pyramid on your left, cross the street. Yeah, I know this doesn’t look like a shopping area, but you’re almost there. When you see the intersection with “13” and “20” walk under the bridge. The Square Enix character goods store is at the next building, which also has Gameloft’s offices.

Of course, Square Enix has Final Fantasy items, too, like a 25th anniversary Chocobo and a 26,000 yen ($331) Aerith statue. Not too many Kingdom Hearts souvenirs in comparison, though.
