Light Apprentice is a turn-based RPG where players’ actions will steadily create a comic book about who the characters are, based on the decisions they make.

The world of Ethenia is in trouble, which causes the awakening of Nate, a hero who’s been sleeping for three hundred years. With the help of four apprentices Nate just may be able to correct the course of a world headed to destruction, but the player’s decisions made throughout the game will also factor into how things turn out.

Players will make several story decisions throughout the game, including which monsters they wish to battle in combat (players can choose to be pacifistic or more aggressive). Players will want to customize their character’s growth with skills and equipment if they want to be beating up monsters often, though.

As players make decisions throughout Light Apprentice, they will be shown the results of their actions through comic-book like cutscenes, turning their actions into a hand-drawn graphic novel.

The first volume of Light Apprentice is available now on Steam.
