Link’s Bow Gun Training shoots for a May release

The Wii Zapper launched in Europe and North America bundled with Link’s Crossbow Training as a free game. In Japan the main way of picking up the plastic shell was through a Ghost Squad or Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles package. Extra zappers could be purchased online, but they didn’t come with a pack in game.

Most Zapper owners are probably bored with Link’s Crossbow Training now, but it is new stuff for Japan. On May 1st, it finally arrives in Japanese stores priced at 3,800 yen ($35). I suppose this is a fair package for anyone who wants to purchase a second zapper (or third?), but North America is getting a much better deal when it comes to Wii light gun games. Not only is the Wii Zapper more reasonable, Ghost Squad was released as a value game.
