Lips: Number One Hits Brings Hammertime To The Xbox 360

Recommended Videos

Lips, Inis’ Xbox 360 karaoke simulator, tried to compete in an overcrowded market of music games last year. The title has mostly been remembered for its blinking wireless microphones which are really nice.

Microsoft isn’t giving up on Lips quite yet. Lips: Number One Hits comes out in October with a selection of songs that reached the top position on “major global charts.” Songs on the list include Karma Chameleon from Culture Club, Viva La Vida by Coldplay, and U Can’t touch This from MC Hammer.

No new features have been announced, but a screenshot shows a new menu interface sporting avatars. Perhaps, Inis has a new avatar mini-game to go with the release? There must be something different in Lips: Number One Hits because Microsoft could have simply released number one song packs for Lips over Xbox Live.

Here’s the song list so far:

Coldplay – Viva La Vida
Rihanna – Disturbia
MC Hammer – U Can’t Touch This
Extreme – More Than Words
Timbaland featuring OneRepublic – Apologize
Culture Club – Karma Chameleon
Roy Orbison – Oh, Pretty Woman
Tokio Hotel – Ready, Set, Go!
Marvin Gaye – I Heard It Through the Grapevine
