Listen: Songs in Taiko no Tatsujin DS

I got my copy of Taiko no Tatsujin DS today and it’s faithful to the Taiko series. You use the plastic drumsticks to hit the faux drum on the touch screen. If the drum icon is red you hit the center of the drum, if it’s blue you hit the border. There is a new move to master where you alternate hitting the outside and center of the drum, which is pretty much a more difficult version of the move where Wada Don is trying to blow a giant balloon. Something that I don’t think has been touched on before is you can completely ignore the touch screen drum. Let’s say you’re on a plane and you can’t put your DS in your lap you can press the D-pad/face buttons to hit the red notes and the shoulder buttons for blue beats. Since there is a bug in the first batch (damn…) you may want to wait on importing it, but before you decide I made a quick video with the initial songs you get to play. Listen to it and see if there is more you want to play besides the Super Mario Brothers theme and Touch.
