First, here’s the Live a Live Prehistory video. It starts out by explaining that every character speaks in pictures here. Then it shows its star, Pogo. Pogo is joined by his gorilla friend Gori. The two of them save a young woman named Beru. This means helping her evade a warrior named Zaki.

The second time periods trailer for Live a Live focuses on the Imperial China chapter. In it, a martial arts master named Earthen Heart Shifu is passing on what he knows to three potentially unlikely disciples. Two are the thieves Lei Kugo and Hong Hakka. The other is a pickpocket named Yun Jou. This segment also shows Shifu’s opposition, another master named Ou Di Wan Lee.

Live a Live will come to the Nintendo Switch on July 22, 2022. The original game appeared on the Super Famicom in Japan.
