Ark System Works announced the official name for Birthdays, the upcoming “life creation” simulation game, as Birthdays the Beginning. They also opened a new Facebook page as well.
To catch you up to speed, Birthdays the Beginning is being developed by Arc System Works and Bokujou Monogatari (Story of Seasons, formerly Harvest Moon) creator Yasuhiro Wada.
The game is described as “everybody’s miniature garden game where life is created.” To give you a better idea, it’s a life simulation game that starts out on a newly created land, and it’ll be up to you to create its environments so that life can continue to grow, evolve, and further develop over time.
You’ll have various living organisms such as ancient plants and dinosaurs, and it’ll even let you go all the way up to the human race. While the goal is to create various forms of life, you’ll also get to have fun by mixing up all kinds of different creatures from various eras all in one big land.
Birthdays the Beginning releases in Japan on January 19, 2017 for PlayStation 4. The game is also headed to North America and Europe through NIS America.
