Lost and Found: Nintendo Crossword

Last E3, Nintendo announced Nintendo Crossword (temporary name). Most of the other games Nintendo announced got release dates with the exception of Mario Kart Wii (also temporary titled). However, Nintendo hasn’t mentioned anything beyond the initial announcement of the project. No new screenshots, no magazine previews, not even a final name for the game. When the game was announced it was the first of its kind (OK… first for North America, Hudson released a Nintendo DS Crossword game back in ’06), but now Nintendo Crossword faces competition from NY Times Crosswords an USA Today Crosswords, a GameStop exclusive. Did Nintendo Crossword get a “Project H.A.M.M.E.R.?” More importantly, is Nintendo Crossword still appealing or should Nintendo of America spend their time working on something else like Archaic Sealed Heat?
