FuRyu developed dungeon crawlers like Unchained Blades. Their upcoming game Lost Dimension is different since it has a battle system similar to Valkyria Chronicles or XCOM: Enemy Unknown. When it is your turn to attack you can move a character around the map and target enemies with a gun.

Sho, the protagonist, uses a handgun so he can hit one enemy. He also has the ability to see the future, which he uses to do a cool looking ricochet shot. Yoko also carries a handgun and has healing abilities. As seen when Yoko moves on the battlefield, you can deal extra damage if you shoot an enemy’s back.

It looks like positioning Touya is really important. He can hit multiple enemies with his sub machinegun and his Lightning Rod ability zaps nearby enemies. Himeno has a knife, so she has to walk right up to enemies, but she can deal heavy damage with her explosive fire abilities.

Lost Dimension comes out on August 7 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
