Lost Planet 3 Thawing For June 27 Release In Japan

Capcom will release Lost Planet 3 on June 27 in Japan, according to a report from Famitsu. While the title is the third entry in the series, it’s actually a prequel to the first Lost Planet title and it’s being developed by Spark Unlimited, the studio behind Legendary and Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.

Siliconera spoke to Capcom and Spark Unlimited about their partnership, the Punchout!!-like mecha battles, and comparisons with Dead Space 3.
