Following multiple days with no Infold or Papergames official update or responses on social media beyond statements about event cancelations in China and Japan, changes to the Love and Deepspace Discord removed Valko and the character page in-game no longer suggests a sixth love interest is “coming soon.” The official account also did not share any update statement or announcements regarding the rerun of the Wander in Wonder banner, which tends to be common practice for event reruns, and instead only shared a maintenance statement. This all came after the July 9, 2026 6.0 update, which was supposed to mark the character’s debut.
The Love and Deepspace character selection page prior to the implementation of Sylus, Caleb, and Valko announcement and cancelation used to have a “coming soon” notice after the last added love interest. So if you went to the “Select Who You Want to Meet” page, there would be a hint additional characters were on the way. When Infold made its announcement on June 30, 2026, it stated it would no longer add any additional folks after Caleb. The removal of the “coming soon” placeholder would suggest it is sticking with that. This is even with there being an intention to eventually add six total love interests, with references in the story and the Protocores referencing him.
Prior to the release of 6.0, the Love and Deepspace Discord featured a Valko channel in the With Him section. A Love Interest Prefix icon of him and Teal role color tied to him also appeared. The only With Him channels in the server are now for the existing characters Caleb, Rafayel, Sylus, Xavier, and Zayne. No statement was made regarding that change.
