Macross Triangle Frontier Screens Give Us A Glimpse At Campus Life, Tornado Packs

Namco Bandai’s next Macross game takes players go through Valkyrie flight school. Macross Triangle Frontier has a new academy mode where you create an original character and interact with characters from the Macross Frontier universe. The PSP game has original events like these scenes with Ranka and Sheryl.

When you’re ready for battle you can equip new weapons like the Tornado Pack from the Macross Frontier movie. Screenshots below show the VF-25A and the VF-25F variable fighters with the weapon.

Don’t want to relive high school? Macross Triangle Frontier also has your standard campaign mode. There are new missions for Super Dimension Macross II: Lovers Again and Macross Frontier: The False Diva. Speaking of which, the limited edition includes The False Diva on a UMD video disc.

Macross Triangle Frontier comes out on February 3, 2011 in Japan. A standalone game costs 5,229 yen ($62) while a limited edition goes for 7,329 yen ($87).
