The Magilumiere manga series follows a company that employs magical girls to fight enemies. Kana Sakuragi finds herself working there after college when she wasn’t quite sure what to do with her life. She works alongside Hitomi Koshigaya, her mentor who helped and “scouted” her, and other individuals doing their best to help others and grow as people. Chapter 159 involves quite a leap into the future, showing Kana witnessing a major moment in Hitomi’s life, before taking another step forward and teasing the final chapter.

There’s still quite some catching up with physical volumes of Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc ahead of the end in Japan. There are 17 volumes available there as of June 2025, and volume 18 should cover chapters 152-160.

While the series is coming to a halt, there’s another adaptation ongoing. An anime debuted on Amazon in October 2024. It consists of 12 episodes. A second season is in development.

The Magilumiere Co Ltd manga will end on July 8, 2025, and Viz Media will release volume 9 of Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc in English on August 19, 2025.
