Nintendo DS game, Tomodachi Collection (Friend Collection), stars Nintendo figureheads like Reggie Fils-Aime, Satoru Iwata, and Shigeru Miyamoto. Miyamoto even sings in the game! The way you interact with them is still a mystery, though.

Actually, Friend Collection is a mystery. Other than including Mii making software and strange news briefings we don’t know much about the game. We’re should be hearing more about Friend Collection soon since the game just got a June 18 release date in Japan.

Will Friend Collection be too quirky for a Western localization? It’s way too early to tell. However, Nintendo registered a trademark for Friend Connection in Europe, a hopeful sign that this game could go international.
