The Detective Conan endless runner is about to make its worldwide debut. Depending on the country someone lives in, it will appear as Detective Conan Runner: Race for the Truth or Case Closed Runner: Race to the Truth on June 5, 2019. If you live in regions like France, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, Italy, or the Philippines, it will appear as Detective Conan Runner. In places like the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and Russia, it will be Case Closed Runner.
Detective Conan Runner is an endless runner with visual novel segments. It follows Shinichi Kudo (Jimmy Kudo, in the localization), who is stuck in the child form of Conan Edogawa after a criminal organization forced him to drink a chemical that was supposed to kill him. He now continues to solve crimes by following a private detective named Kogoro Mori (Richard Moore) and essentially doing his work for him. (He also lives with Mori and his daughter Ran/Rachel.)
A Detective Conan Runner preregistration campaign is in effect. As of May 29, 2019, over 75,000 people had registered, according to the official Facebook page. This means people would be given 240 Diamonds and a Guaranteed SR or better Gacha Ticket. The gacha is how people can get new runner and companion characters.
