Over the last few weeks, Capcom has been releasing installments in a The Making of Monster Hunter: World documentary series. Each episode looks at a different element of the game’s creation. The fourth part, Taking on the World, is focused on what needed to be done to make the global release happen.

This Monster Hunter: World installment begins with Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto speaking about doing promotional activities and meeting fans worldwide. Kaname Fujioka, the Art Director and Executive Director, then speaks about the growing Monster Hunter fanbase. After that, Director Yuya Tokuda talking about the response to the game being playable for the first time at Gamescom 2017.

If you missed the previous three parts, you can look back at the project’s beginnings here, its design here and its crafting here.

Monster Hunter: World is available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will come to the PC in Fall 2018.
