Malus Code Brings Horror To Romantic Kinetic Visual Novels

The English release of kinetic visual novel Malus Code on Steam brings dread alongside potential love interests.

As Will, players have come to Japan to study thermophiles. They will meet up with three lab assistants while there, joining them in their research, or perhaps more, as they grow closer together. Over time, though, some unsettling developments will come about, infusing horrific events into the game’s storyline.

Malus Code features a Japanese voice cast for its three lab assistant characters, and offers subtitles in English as well as Japanese (with furigana), Japanese (without furigana), hiragana, and romaji (alphabet) for those wishing to study aspects of the language.
