The reintroduction of The Idolmaster series’ singers continues in the lead up to The Idolmaster: Stella Stage. In the newest trailer, we look at one of the Futami twins, Mami Futami. She is the older of the two twins.

Mami and Futami were a rather unusual case in the first The Idolmaster games. They have been around since the beginning, but originally the two acted as a single idol. Both Mami and Ami would perform under Ami’s name. It is only in The Idolmaster 2 that they make their debut as separate characters, with Ami appearing as part of the Ryuuguu Komachi unit and Mami being a character you could produce. Mami is quite energetic, but is a little more mature than Ami.

In her The Idolmaster: Stella Stage trailer, Mami performs “Visionary.” This is a rather unique song! It originally only appeared in The Idolmaster: Shiny Festa Funky Note, which only had Mami, Ami, Iori, Yayoi, and Hibiki in it. It also was in The Idolmaster: Platinum Stars and could be purchased as DLC for The Idolmaster: One for All.

Previous The Idolmaster: Stella Stage videos have looked at Shika, Hibiki, Yayoi, Iori, Ritsuko, and Yukiho.

The Idolmaster: Stella Stage will come to the PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 21, 2017.
