Cyberfront is retooling arcade shooter Mamoru-kun for PlayStation 3. I said "retooling" since Cyberfront is adding features to the PS3 version like widescreen support. See this post for a comparison of how Mamoru-kun looks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Other new features include two downloadable characters from the Xbox 360 release and a new gameplay mode.
On March 31, retailers will get two version of Mamoru-kun. There’s a standard edition for 6,279 yen ($75) and a 8,925 yen ($105) limited edition. Cyberfront packed a 150 page art book, soundtrack CD, and DVD titled "The Perfect Terror" which has tips on how to max out your score.
First print copies, limited and standard editions, include a code to download a set of costumes from the PlayStation Store.
