While Final Fantasy XIII-2 is quite different from the Super Nintendo era Final Fantasy games, Square Enix is throwing fans a bone with by adding Gilgamesh as a downloadable colosseum challenger. For 320 Microsoft Points ($4) or 400 yen on PSN (likely $4 in North America) you can fight Gilgamesh who starts the battle armed with machine guns. Midway through the fight, Gilgamesh switches to swords and the Battle to the Death on the Big Bridge really begins. Did you notice the remix of Gilgamesh’s Final Fantasy V theme in the video too?
PuPu from Final Fantasy VIII is Final Fantasy XIII-2’s sixth downloadable battle. In this 160 Microsoft Point ($2) or 200 yen fight you have to fend of dozens of tiny blue aliens. Win and if you’re lucky PuPu will join your group.
