MapleStory 2 Teases Some Of Its New Characters And Monsters

MapleStory’s success partially hinges on just how darn cute the old-school platforming online game is, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the latest trailer from Nexon teasing the game piles the cute on with its characters and monsters.

The new, 3D-looking game’s characters and monsters look pretty spiffy, if not downright adorable. Slime Dad just wants to spend time with his son.

There’s also what appears to be ready stuff for  the yearly list of events such as artwork sketches for events such as White Day. MapleStory 2 will be set in a different world from the first game, and use an isometric camera view.

MapleStory 2 is expected to be out some time mid-2014.
