Before there was Halo, Bungie created Marathon for Macs. On August 1st the second game in the series, Marathon: Durandal is coming to Xbox Live Arcade with a few improvements. Namely, upgraded graphics, four player split-screen and eight player online multiplayer. It’s something Halo fans probably want to pick up for 800 Microsoft Points ($10) to fill their Bungie fix until September.
Also coming out this Wednesday is Spyglass Board Games, a collection of table top stuff like Chess, Mancala and Reversi for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). Spyglass Board Games also supports the Xbox Live Vision camera, which is the real reason why it’s interesting. I can only imagine what kind of entertainment people will come up with after seeing how the camera changed the “rules” of Uno. Strip Chess, Strip Checkers, etc…
