March Gets Busier With Square Enix’s Miffy Game

Square Enix picked up the license to work with Miffy, the little white rabbit from the Netherlands, and they’re making an edutainment game with her.

Oyako de Asobo Miffy no Omochabako (Play for Kids and Parents Miffy’s Toybox) has twenty five mini games like guess the animal and a coloring game which you can transfer to a Nintendo DS. Bullet points on the press release explain this is a game parents can play with their kids and it’s designed to help kids read.

OK, Miffy’s Toybox probably isn’t for you, but it’s interesting to note since this Wii game is Square Enix’s foray into the pre-school market and they picked up a popular European character to star in it.
