During the Japan Expo that took place over the summer in Paris, France, Takashi Tezuka and Shigeru Miyamoto discussed various course design tips for Super Mario Maker. Here’s a look at a recording from the event. Tezuka went over some basic tips found in the artbook that comes with the game, and they even prepared a short video outlining how to create puzzles using a switch block, trampoline, and a koopa shell. Super Mario Maker is available for the Wii U.
